Reunion

I just got back from a family reunion.  It was great!

I specifically tried to get a photo of chanson and me - something I failed to notify chanson of ahead of time.   The only photo we have -  it was apparent that I had barely slept in two days.  I'm choosing not to share that set of photos with the interwebs.

When I first scanned this photo on the boat, I thought it was a pic of one of my sisters.  Isn't that odd? I didn't think my sister (third in birth order) and I looked that much alike.

I'll probably write more posts about the reunion and my experiences.  I really had a great time.  My kids had a great time.  There was a good discussion of The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot.  There was much discussion of all the rides at Mall of America (still - one week later).  I rode some of the rides with my kids and my comment is - I'm too old for this stuff!
