the media

You know something's going on when you see a nearby community on a national 24 hour news network.

What's even better is when they flash teasers of a nearby community (people in boats) and then go right back to talking about the upcoming elections.

The best part is when the star reporter, wearing your local tv station's hat asks a recent victim:

"So, how do you feel about having lost everything you own?"

Brillant. Just brillant. How do you respond to that?

I hate those kind of questions on the news, especially when someone's family member has died. I guess they are trying to stir up emotion to increase ratings or something.
