Distraction

I have to say, I understand what Virginia Woolf was writing about in "A Room of One's Own".

I have around ten different topics swimming around in my head that I want to write about - yet I'm incredibly distracted by my two year olds running around my room (it's not child-proofed). And "The Wonder Pets" on in the background. I'm in the computer room, with the door shut - but I can still hear eveything going on.

My husband is chasing after them, and is quite capable. Yet for me, even to hear the chaos brings it one step closer - I feel like I need to step in.

My two year olds climb on everything and jump off. It's fortunate that we haven't had a visit to the emergency room. Yet.

Too True! I feel the same.

See, we prefer the Backyardigans to the Wonder Pets here at Casa Kullervo.

Yeah - I think the wonder pets were just what was on tv at the particular time I was drafting that post...I too like the Backyardigans. But there are only a handful of kid's tv shows that I can't stand....
